The trails there are so fun and have great flow! I've only ridden there a few times but would be interested if someone familiar with the trails offered to lead.

After reading the other LR thread I realized, holy cow!-- I've ridden there before! --just didn't know the name of the place! And you're right, Julie...from what I remember, parts were fast and flowy, other parts were tight and twisty with lots of roots.... loads of fun. If it's not a ladies only ride, I'd be interested as well!

Speaking for myself I wouldn't mind if it was a co-ed ride, as long as it's casual!

I used to ride loch raven alot. I think the trails a have chancged a little since then and some of the trails have even been closed to mtb bikes. Either way I would be up for meeting people to ride there.

At some point I'll try to lead a "Guys and Dolls" ride at LR and pass on some of the trail knowledge to ladies who would like to lead women's rides there.

My husband knows Loch Raven better than I do, but we have a hard time riding together since we have kids. Maybe we can get him to lead the first ride. The trails are great, though, with some nice single track. Maybe we can get a ride together this weekend--co-ed is great.

I can lead - or join - a ride at Loch Raven Monday after 2, Tuesday after work, Thursday after work, or next Saturday. I ride here about 3 times a week, so I know the trails well. Casual pace is cool, all welcome. There is some interest on another LR thread about a ride further up Dulaney at Merrymans, but if you're new to LR &/or want to hit the best flowing trails - I'd start at the Church lot. Let me know. First year rider would love to find other woman to ride with and have fun!
