I know there was a thread on the Crossrides, does anyone have experience with the Mavic Crosslands? They are UST capable weigh about 100g more (1970g vs 2074g,) and about $40 more than the Crossrides on Jenson USA ($239.)

I like the sealed bearings, straight pull spokes, and am liking the MP3 plan. (8% of cost for 2y no questions asked exchanges.) Looking on the website, I don't see much difference. The hubs for the CL's say "Serviceable, sealed cartridge bearings," while the CR's have the "QRM" bearing.

Anybody?

I have a set of crosslands that I bought from performance a couple of years ago. I originally bought the crossrides(not the new ones) however it had a little shimmy in the rear wheel so I upgraded and bought the crosslands. They do the job well. I don't have any complaints
