Conditions 8/29?

Anyone been out there today? Thinking about stopping in after work today, but wanted to find out if the conditions are decent with the spots of rain we got recently.

(Since I'm still new here, is this the right place to find out/post about this?)

This is the right place.

It was quite dry on Saturday, at least the white loop and the orange stuff within the white loop. But watch out for the angry groundhog (http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4968) on the trail to the left when you leave the parking lot.

I ended up riding Hoyles Mill last night and the conditions were good/dry. Stream crossing was fun, just a tad bit higher than it was on last Thursdays ride.

Looking to head out here this afternoon... anyone have condition report on the trails in the park or on the Mill run today, I'd appreciate it.

Rode the yellow loop ccw, out by blue, then in by yellow. There's a branchy tree down just after the 2nd orange connector, marker 17. Requires a dismount and a walk through the brambles.

The grasses at the far end of the loop are very high, obscuring the trail completely.

Otherwise, the trail was fairly dry.
