I need/want some new shoes. If I blow $200+ on cycling shoes, I'll be sleeping in a tent in the backyard. MTBAction gave the SixSixOne Expert shoes 5 stars. They cost $50. Anyone have experience with these, or SixSixOne shoes in general? Is this a good buy, or a waste of beer $$$$?

Muchas gracias

I just bought the experts off of Ebay for $15.00 w/shipping $25 (New). I have not used them yet, but they seem to be okay for the price. I will let you know more after I am giving them a spin.

I tried the experts out today and I must say, for the price, they are not to bad. Lite, but soild. I would give them a go. Check on Ebay for a better deal. I thnk I saw them at Jensen or Price Point for $39.

For anyone who might care, I ended up buying an pair of 661 Peak shoes on the cheap ( I couldn't find the Experts in any shop within 30 miles of my house), which I have put about 120 miles on so far. I like them. Much better than the local bike shop brand I rode on for 18 months. And I only had to ride them once to realize I reversed the cleats (from shoe to shoe, not upside down or anything. I'm stupid, but not stupid stupid)....
