Fountainhead conditions?

Hey, how much snow did Fountainhead get? If it didn't get much snow I'm thinking about hitting it in the early morning before it thaws.

I rode at Fountainhead this last Saturday morning 12/27/2003. Trail was in good shape except for a few muddy spots. A couple of little climbs were muddy so watch out for some wheel slippage. There are actually less leaves on the trail than the last time I rode it in early November. Listen to the hotline...It's never steered me wrong. One side note, I did eat it trying to get around the left side of the gate across the road because I was so excited to go riding...watch for that.

rode fountainhead yesterday and today (12/30/03) and it had a little bit of mud, but not much at all even after the light rain last night. i'm amped that at least some semi-close trails to me are rideable.

I'm totally surprised, but FH today 1/1/2004, was possibly drier than any day I rode it in 2003. Let's hope 2004 is kinder to the trails.

Sunday, Jan 4 was a different story.
After completing the entry loop, you'd think the trail should be closed. It gets better the rest of the way, though I've seen it closed for less before.

Jan 5 update: forget it for several days at least, despite what the phone message says.
