SOLD
Anyhow, I really want these gone so I can have some room in my house.
I live in Richmond, but would be willing to meet up in Fredericksburg to do an exchange.
Just email me @ f5000sl at comcast dot net

Ok, I told Lisa I will get rid of these bikes and with classes starting in a few weeks I still need to buy my Cross commuter bike.
$775.00 takes the On-One w/flat c/f bar and extra tires.
The Rush Hour, $450.00
Both bikes a virtually like new as they are both just sitting in the bedroom.

To any potential buyers, FWIW, I purchased a Raleigh Rush Hour not too very long ago and really enjoy riding it. It's not the lightest ride around (it's as heavy as my geared Cannondale R500), but it's steel, not too sluggish, has a great ride quality on the streets, and has made for a great commuter bike. I like the straight fork on it, and it's not flashy. Gearing is a 48x16 (freewheel), or 48x15 (track), so you'll have to work a little on the hills.

$450 is a good price; I personally ride a 59cm. If you're looking for a commuter that's fun to ride, simple, and won't beat you up, this is a great bike to consider.

No, the Raleigh Rush Hour is a road bike, track frame with horizontal rear dropouts. Sorry if that was not more clear.
Again, I LOVE mine.

beaver tail rack - the sort that clamps on the seat tube might work..clamps around the seat stay with some old tube as a gasket.
and yes, duct tape..

Besides, Chris, why don't you just suck it up and go for the real messenger look and get yourself a Timbuk2 like the rest of us has-beens and wanna-be's.
Of course, while Timbuk2 is the real deal, Ortlieb really does make a more practical product for commuting, IMHO, and I can attest to it being waterproof. Not even the most torrential of downpours will get those khakis wet.
Seriously, though, 2 very big thumbs up for the Raleigh. I even like to cruise around on it on the weekends. My Cannondale is jealous, I know...
