I know cross bikes are sized differently. How tall are you?

I'm a little under 5'8", ~ 30-31" inseam. I'm selling it 'cause it's too big and I don't feel like putting up with freaky, not-very-effective tweaks to the cockpit setup anymore. With shoes on, I can stand over it with both feet flat on the ground, but it's *very* snug.

Well, I'm about 6'4" and typically ride a 61" rd bike. Now, from what I understand you go smaller with a cross bike, so I thought I might be around a 57". That is why I was checking to see how tall you are. I think the 55" may be a little to small.

I can't promise to hold it for you, but I'm not in a "must move fast" situation either - watch this space.

Still for sale? I just might take it off your hands.
*Edit: Just realized the size. I typically ride a 58cm in a road frame.

Nope. Swapping everything over to the Crosscheck when I get it. Know anyone who might want a Kona frame w/Project 2 fork?

drew,
i might be. do you still have the headset in the frame and fork attached?
i'd like to drop in a set of wheels and check the standover/top tube.

It'll probably be a week or four 'til I actually order the frame and do the swap, and was planning on swapping the headset over as well, but I'd be amenable to arrangements to meet sometime before then (I forget if it's you, or hophead, or someone else entirely who works parttime at the Bike Lane. If it's you, you could check it out when I bring it in for the breakdown/rebuild).

If anyone's interested, I still have this frame. 55cm cross sizing w/Kona Project 2 fork, no headset.
