...a Thomson seatpost (27.2) and a Thomson stem (100 x 5) ... I'm probably going to need a set of brakes at some point too, but not for a while.

If you have spares, and they're doing their best canary impression (going CHEEP!) then lemme know!

(Yes. I done got me a 29er. May God have mercy on what's left of my soul...)

So, are you actually going to be riding this one sometime?

So, are you actually going to be riding this one sometime? :rolleyes:I quite frankly am amazed that it took so long for someone to hit me with this!!!

Nope, this one isn't getting ridden for a while. Not until after we move to CA next year. I don't have the lungs or legs to ride it (singlespeed) after my layoff, and we have nowhere to put it anyways if it was built up. But a wise man suggested that when that happens I'll be married (and no longer in sole control of my money!) and living in California (living on ramen and tap water). Ergo, I should amass some of the parts to have on hand prior to the move, while I still have access to a (rapdily shrinking) amount of disposable income. (Saving for a wedding ain't fun!)

Okay, got my seatpost and stem organized, thanks to Darren and Trailvictim. Gracias, lads. Adding to the shopping list...

King headset
Crank Brothers Candy pedals
On One MARY bars (Drew let me test out his, love 'em!)

So on the off chance if someone has spares of these (cause everyone has spare King headsets lying around, right? ;)) let me know before I'm forced to pay full price for 'em and get pummelled by the fiancé for blowing the wedding fund on more bike stuff!

I may have a set of candies laying around. I think they are the yellow ones though if that makes a difference. Make me an offer. I'd take cash or some type of trade. These are the last set I have left from my conversion to Times.

If crashmore does not have any I have two sets.

One Candy Chrome, one Candy SS. (Light grey and dark grey respectivly).

BTW I think the chromes are the set that I bought off of crashmore at last year(2005) Lodi.

I switched over to Time Atac too.

Pedals all over the place! I'd have to say that I'd lean towards nice quiet dark grey as opposed to yellow (damn the designer in me!) - how much for those pep?
