All,

I just wanted to let you know that Mike P., Dave S. and I were at Wakefield today taking out a couple of big ole tree’s that had fallen onto the race course.

As for the trails, they really aren’t in the best of shape. Salamander and 495 both have standing water. The Stream Valley trail was muddy. Parts of Phase I and Phase II were ridable but it’s hard to make a good loop. The Bowl was decent.

My recommendation for people who absolutely have to ride local dirt tomorrow

(You know the ones who don't take NO for an answer - Or "Don't tell me what I can do)

is to hit the bowl and then head straight over to Accotink. If you don’t, expect to tear up some of the wetter trails and plan on getting your bike and drive train muddy and wet as heII. Remember a new XT drive trail is gonna cost you about $300.

Plus you'll have to live with the knowledge you're a selfish ass.

Any idea how Wakefield is now? I was hoping to head out and catch loop or two at lunch in about a half hour, but if it's bad I'll hold up

I was out last night, around 7/8 pm, it wasn't too bad. One or two mudholes, but for the most part the racecourse was dry. Spongy in spots.

Yep, as reported.

I just got back from a couple race course laps minus the creek trail. The entrance from the service road was a hole, so i decided that was a Do Not Enter sign. All in all it looks really good though. Like you said 2-3 small mudholes.

You can tell there's been some hard work put in out there.

(Sorry - I didn't see this come in)

No - But I do support their current retirement plan.

I dropped $538 there on Friday - Not so pretty Red Truck got sick
I need to drop another $500 on front hubs if they can find them
And Yesterday driving to work, the AC in the Honda died in a big puff of White Smoke. I'm no expert, but I'm thinking that was NOT a good thing.
