Very very very very very very wet. As one rider put it, riding here was like "riding through gnarly peanutbutter" "The rocks feel like grease ontop of diareah ontop of ice." I crashed pretty hard in practice after telling my dad "im going up to hit it one more time" (the urban legend is true you do always crash after saying that).if anyone who was there is wondering where it was at the saterday course in that gnarly section before the fireroad .I managed to sprain my hand badly enough that i couldnt get a good enough grip to run the course at a speed that was worth running it. Well the racing was good. Saturdays course was rocky at the top with a really steap section that gave everyone trouble. Then the course dumped you on a fireroad and then onto nice single track with a few jumps and some off camber. Sundays course was steep and rocky almost the whole way except for the very end. Well as soon as i get the vids on my comp ill post them up online.
Ps: Mike thanks for the new chain. I counted 12 bent links on my old one.

Goodluck, penguin. That section right there is the reason I ended up not registering to race on a very wet Saturday. Fantastic event, though. Pictures up, soon.

yea i could do it when it was dry but as soon as it rained and the riders layed mud on those rocks i was screwed. Well i had fun so it was all good.

Yea I iced my hand (finger and wrist) and then took some ibuprophen (sp?) to help with the swelling. im feeling better though. i can grip the bars but not when jackhammering through rocks. Cant find the damn cable to upload pics and vids to computer  I also found how bad my all mountian bike was compared to a gravity bike on these courses after i demoed a kona stinky on friday. I cleaned the course on the stinky (both courses) Where as i ususally had at least one tripod moment on my reign.
