I know a few ladies who will be racing tonight- however, my biking gal pals don't seem to the troll the Forum or any web-based Forum often or at all...a gal thing dontchaknow...well maybe?

I'm racing...or attempting to ride the race course tonight.
I still have time to change my mind though, right? :)

And the Cricket says "Chirp-Chirp"

Seriously! I was just about to post a taunting message, sarcastically encouraging "Don't everybody post at once!"

There's always time to change your mind. But who wants a DNS next to their name? I'd take a DFL or a DNF any day.

My personal bike mechanic, aka TrailVictim, did that on Monday. AND he hooked me up with some Time Atacs to replace my bobo stock spd's. He's darn good to me! I'll get to try it all out today, which means you can probably find me falling over in the gravel as I get stuck in my pedals. :)

there is a little trick that can be done to the cleats, which will allow you to snap out easier. Eventually whit time, the cleats get worn out and actually don't grab as well anymore. If it becomes too painfull - and keep in mind that this is risky, you can ask your mechanic to sand the front edges ( the inside mostly) of your cleats a litle bit, kind of rounding them. If he knows that trick, you will be fine, otherwise, don't do it. The cleats cost $20.00 or more.
I did read this in a bike magazine, and applied to my time attacks - and yes it did work :)

I am going to ride at Quantico tomorrow - yes at the Marine's base. They have a group ride on thursdays starting at 6pm. Let me know if interested, and I will send you instructions and directions.
