Tried Revolution (Clarendon) and Performance, and no luck - anyone care to point me toward a place more likely to carry one, in the DC area? I'll be giving City Bikes a ring tomorrow . . .
Gracias.

Many thanks. Germantown Cycles was, indeed, the only place in the DC area (and I use that term very loosely - I didn't even know where Germantown was before today . . .) to carry these. I did buy the last two. So, uh, sorry to anyone else who's looking this week.

Actually, we have the rotors AND adaptors in stock in Chevy Chase. Not only that, but I have 6, 7 and 8" rotors (and bleed kits) for the event this weekend.
We stock that stuff and always re-order when we are out.

Revolution, Mike. Revolution.
For shame! :(

C'mon, Revolution is a decent shop, no? The Clarendon location, anyway.

Semi-related - I am having a hell of a time adjusting these brakes. Right now, the right side of the caliper (facing forward) is bending the rotor at full brake. If I adjust the caliper towards the right (to reduce the bending), it ends up rubbing on the left. I'm working with Zinn's book on this, but I don't seem to be going anywhere. A problem that sounds familiar to anyone?

Did you try loosening the bolts that hold the brake to the bike just so that the caliper can move abit then pulling the lever a few times. After youve pulled the lever a few times have a buddy, spousal unit or a rubberband hold the brake lever so that the caliper is clamping the rotor. while the pads are both contacting the rotor ltighten the bolts that hold the caliper to the bike and release the lever. That is how i center my caliper and it works 80% of the time. You may need to repeat it once or twice to get it perfect. Sorry if this isnt a very clear walkthrough but its hard to explain what to do without pictures.

I put two in the race kit for tomorrow... I guess there was a lapse. Shame on me! Bad Mike!
