Anybody got a clue whether there'll be enough rain to impact our rides pre-picnic tomorrow? It wouldn't surprise me if we got some, but it doesn't look like we'll get lots.

I went by Schaeffer about 7:00 tonight before we got any rain. The trails were in decent shape with some of the typical wet spots. However, it's rained hard two or three times already this evening. It doesn't look promising for riding. I'll check the situation out early tomorrow and post.

The picnic will go on. We have the pavillion and the food already...

Does anyone think it will be rideable this morning?

James just finished riding the White loop at Schaeffer. Trail conditions are good, no mud, just stay away from typical wet areas.

The rides are on!

I heard that Punga said that James said that the trails are ridable. The 9:30am ride is ON. See you out there.

That creek crossing is going to be "Refreshing". And the logs will be wet. Sounds like fun to me.

So far, so good according to an email James just sent. He says the white trail is ridable. However, I'm postponing the skills clinic ride until this afternoon after the picnic because wet logs + skills clinic = people falling down a lot. See my post elsewhere in the pit for more specifics.

punga!
