Wanted: Bar End Shifter

I'm looking for a bar end shifter - yes, only one - for a project...preferably 8 spd friendly.

Whatcha got in that box in the garage? Whattya want fer it?

I don't have one in any case, but are you looking for a barcon shifter like a road bike would have at the end of the drops, or the shifters that mounted on your bar ends and were remote to the main shifter on the handlebar? I remember Colorado Cyclist or Nashbar running sales on those things cheap a few years ago. Might be worth trolling for.

Just looking for a plain old bar end shifter. Nothing fancy. Similar to what Surly sells stock on their complete Cross Checks or what some cyclocrossers use from what I understand.

i picked up a set last fall from b-club in falls church and noticed they had several sets to choose from. gotta root through the bins, but thats the fun part.

less than 30 including cables.
