The Ride Like a Girl ride for this Saturday June 3 has been moved from Wakefield Park to Schaeffer Farms so that everyone who wants can join the MORE picnic (http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4138). As part of the festivities, I will be leading a women's ride along the same route I led the May 20 ride. Ride will start at 10 am and should last about 1-1/2 hours. Pace will be casual and we will stop and work on stuff if the group wants.

If you are planning on attending, please RSVP to president-elect@more-mtb.org.

As of 7:35, the rides at Schaeffer still seem to be on. I sat out on my porch (about 5 miles from Schaeffer), last night from 10 to 11 and watched it absolutely pour, so I don't know that the trails will be rideable. Someone from MORE is going to check.

If the trails are muddy, I won't lead the RLAG ride. I'm going to bring my road bike too, there will probably be road rides going out this morning. There also might be an off-road ride along Hoyles Mill, or later rides when the trails drain a little bit. If the trails are closed, I'm going to have to cancel, rather than delay, the RLAG ride; I have my kids starting at 11:45.

You should make your own decision about coming out at 10, knowing that the trails may be closed or the ride may be on-road instead.

Sorry for the discombobulation of this post, haven't had enough coffee, but I wanted to let everyone know the status.

I just spoke with James Corbett. He rode the white trail this morning and due to very dry conditions this spring and the foliage sucking up the water, the trails are in good shape. A few wet spots taht are always wet but overall the trails are fine.
