I have an 06 med. On-One Inbred 29r for sale. Completely factory except for the MonkeyLite bars that I am selling with it.

I also have a 06 RS REBA race for sale.

You can buy one, or buy them both, both nets you some savings.

Both are almost new (bought in Feb 06), the bike may have about 60-80 miles total and the Reba maybe 20-30 miles. I am just not feeling the 29r, so my loss is your gain.

Here is the link to my ad with pricing on mtbr:

Reasonable offers will be considered, cash is always good & PayPal works too.

What is it about 29ers that doesn't work for you? Mostly one hears only raves, and it might be instructive to hear the other side.

Some of it is the sizing. I am 5' 10-11" (31" inseam) and I am on an 18" 29r. Without a suspension fork I am fine, with one it's really tall.

The other part is sluggish spooling up of the rear wheel in SS mode. Now this may be because I am on a steel frame and is compounded by the 29r wheel size, as well as all the parts on this bike are middle of the road compared to all my 26r gear.
So with that said, the bike is just not "snappy" like my F5000sl, or my old Bianchi GUSS.

I think that in 29r form, a Gary Fisher might be more my speed, being alum framed and all.

The plus side to the 29r is there too. It's easy to clear many obstacles on the 29r that may not be as easy on a 26r. Front and rear wheel grip are much better too. I have been able to take corners faster and brake more meticulously than on just about any of my 26r's.

You will find many trade-off's on any bike you ride when compared to the next, my problem is that of all the pros & cons, these cons hit my ride style pretty hard.
