Can anyone report on the recent conditions of the SCGT? I'm contemplating buzzing out there this weekend, but have yet to have "been there done that."

Nope, I've been meaning to, but not lately.

From previous experience, it's probably okay from the second trailhead north of Rt. 355 (I think it's off of Middlebrook Rd) on to Damascus.

The lower section seems to stay pretty muddy unless there are a couple of weeks of no rain.

Greenway from Brink Road north tends to be fairly passable, but you need at least 24 hours of rain-free conditions. Once you cross Seneca Creek and get onto the Lower Magruder, it gets a bit muddy between Seneca Creek and Watkins Road. Beware of the bike eating mudhole in that strectch, though It is very deceptive in appearance. While it looks shallow, it will eat your front wheel up to the axle and toss you over the handlebars.

Once you get north of Watkins Road, the trail is in great shape.
