RLAGs @ Memorial Day MTB Festival?

Hi Gals,
Is anyone else planning to go solo to Stokesville? I will be there and have met a few of you on the inaugural ride in Cedarville. Will be helping Liz in Schaeffer on Sat. too. The long weekend will offer some epic rides so I hope if anyone is on the fence they will decide to come along. I may need your help setting up my tent or stumbling back to camp after too many Sierra Nevadas!

I have a very large tent, ( sleeps 6 ) and Many types of camping supplies,(coleman stove, lanterns stakes etc.. ) which I can lend out to anyone without supplies. Dave M.

I'm going & have planned to take off Friday 5/26. I'd like to carpool w/someone else & share gas (I don't have bike rack). Out of town this w/e so I won't be at Schaeffer unfortunately.

Also, FYI - DaveM's gear comes without Dave. He and the wife will be in the 5th wheel watching jepardy on the tube and eating chocolate bon bons!

Teresa, now why ya gotta go ruin a good thing by throwing FACTS into the equation. We will be watchin jeopardy, we love bon-bons, Bud and Kelly will sleep in the basement, and Marcy and Steve will insult us. Penny will likely force me to... Oh I cant even bring mysef to type it. Oh the shame.. Screw this, When the goin gets tuff, the Tuff get to the NUDIE BAR!!

Sounds like the party is at the Marchy's! I hear you have a pool table in the rec room of that thing too. I could probably park my subaru into the extra bay and save on gas. With all the activities you described I wonder how much riding you will be able to fit in!

On a more serious note, will need to get a trail report from your Harper's Ferry outing. Dosi Do.

I have done about 3 hours worth of Internet research. I cannot find eny evidence of trail riding in Harpers Ferry area, the C&O canal Tow path appears to be the only option.

I will post Up a ride at Greenbriar (its only 25 miles away) for Saturday.

Dave - I don't have your cell #. Can you email it to me? Can't do Greenbiar since the girls are at Scheaffer, but would love to do it another day. Also, my son is coming out June 2-10 and I we will be MTB every day. Would you be interested showing us Gambrill, The Shed, or Patapsco. Been to the frist two and know I will get us lost. He is an excellent rider and I want to prove to him the trails in VA/MD kick butt. We have sweet single track in Idaho and he won't believe me when I say it is awesome out here!

Teresa, My cell phone # is 301-509-3191, Call me any time. I have never been to gambrill, or the Shed, but I intend to soon. I have been to Patapsco once. It put my brother in the Hospital. Major fun Trails at Patapsco. I know them just well enough to get us good and lost. I understand it is very easy to hook up with other riders who know patapsco very very well. You must Ride BUZZARD ROCK TRAIL, and the Water Bar Hill (Both in Patapsco). They are awesome. Ring me Up when your son visits, My son and I will join ya.

Sent you an email today too. May need to borrow that bike we talked about. Can you tell me the specs again. He is thinking shipping his brand new Specialized Enduro is going to be too expensive or a too big of a pain.

Hey did you bro get hurt really bad at Patapsco? I thought I might meet some MORE folks that want to do some weekday rides at Patapsco/shed/Gambrill while we are at Stokesville? May be able to set up some rides while I am there.

Teresa -- there's a women's ride at Patapsco every Monday night @ 6:00. I've been a few times this year and it's always a lot of fun with a good mix of skill levels.
