This Sunday is the first Ride Like a Girl ride. It will be held at Cedarville State Forest at 10 am. If you are planning on attending, please let me know so I can get a general sense of how many riders to plan for. It is going to be a beautiful day, it seems! And I'll have bagels and coffee out there, or something similar....

Pace/ Terrain: The trail is a mix of fairly easy single-track and fire road. We will probably have two paces: easy and intermediate. I'm leading the easy ride, ardenbees is leading the more advanced riders.

Where: We will meet at the first parking lot on as you enter Cedarville, on Bee Oak Road. Remember to bring $3 to pay the entrance fee!

Directions: http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1207

The Ride: We're going to do a loop on the Orange trail (7 miles). There will be an opportunity to return to the car after about a mile or two. We will finish the orange loop, then whoever wants to can go out again and do the blue trail (3.5 miles).

Pre-Ride: At 9 am, I'm going to go out and scope the trails, as well as mark the way back from the bailout point. Anyone is welcome to join me.

What to Bring: All riders MUST wear a helmet (no lid, no ride), bring water, and have a trail-ready bike. Riders should also carry the usual basics: spare tube(s), a pump, tire levers, a chain tool, and basic allen wrenches.

Leaders: If you are interested in leading future rides please let me know! You don't have to commit for the entire season, just one or two rides would be very helpful. And all leaders get a nifty Ride Like a Girl baseball cap!

See you out there!
