Wakefiled is a little muddy under the trees, but it's rideable. The trails in the woods down to Accotink are a bit better.

Wakefield/Accotink was definitely NOT rideable on Sunday. I live next to the parks and it POURED late Saturday (8/16), into early Sunday. Ruined my plans for a ride, but the trails come first, right?

Just because the trails were "rideable" doesn't mean you should ride. The trails could be under 6 inches of water and still be rideable, but would you?
Wakefield got at least 1/2" of rain late on Saturday and should not have been ridden Sunday. Bottom line, if you are leaving tire tracks that are more than just very slight indentations on significant portions of the trail, then you should not be on those trails.

I'm with you OB.
My assessment of Sunday's riding conditions is based solely on the sound of rain beating my roof for 3 hours the night before. My bike stayed inside and didn't come anywhere near the trails. I've been riding A/W since a Quadra 5 was a cutting-edge shock and I know what a rain like that does to the trails, especially Wakefield and the singletrack at Accotink that runs right next to the railroad tracks.
It's good to hear that there are others on this board that put the trails first.
