Today I hit Schaeffer and recorded a little of the white trail and marked some of the trail intersections with waypoints. I'll get around to finishing this sometime soon - Provided I remember to put fresh batteries in the unit (of course it started to die as soon as I got the the half-pipe section.)

What GPS software did you use to overlay track on a photo?

I used http://earth.google.com/ - it is free. I upgraded to the $20 version, but I think the free version has 99% of the functionality. It is great on its own.

What about all of that land to the West in that pic. It would be nice to push that boundary back a few miles and add some length to the back where most people don't ride.

This is far from a complete map - this is only part of one loop - the white trail. I will try to get the rest in - including the trails to the west.

Some of those trails might be in areas that Google Earth doesn't cover well. Schaeffer Farms is right at the edge of high-resolution pictures in GE.

Are you talking about the yellow trails?
I have a lower quality GPS tracks map under MAPS forum, that shows most of the trails- some connectors are missing.
Unless there are other trails that I am not aware of, and then, in that case, I would like to know :)

Here is the MORE map of the area - really well done. On this map I went 1-2-3-5-4(forgot to mark it)-3-2-1.

Cold weather and low batteries, plus a cold beer at Dogfish all contributed to driving me off the trails.

I plan to get the rest of trails soon.
