how do you put thumbnail images in the posts?
"Attach"?
maybe I just can't see it in Preview mode?

I think you just upload a picture and they just appear on your post. Down at the bottom of your new post it will say "manage attachments" you can upload a picture there. The thumbnail will appear on your post.
