I rode F'head this weekend under beautiful conditions. At the top of Shockabilly, I was feeling brave enough to take the alternate route.
On a regular day, I think that is the most challenging/dangerous part of the trail. When it is covered in damp leaves, however, it is downright scary. I made it down without crashing, but it felt like I was on the edge the whole way down.
I think I'll stick with Shockabilly until the leaves have been ground down or blown off.
