best places to ride near Balto/Annapolis

Where are the best places to ride here in MD? I recently moved from GA and like fast flowing singletrack with long or short steep climbs. I've tried what I thought was Avalon, although I am sure I didnt complete all the trails back there and I tried Arundel High School which was entirely too flat. Are there any good loops with 500-1000 ft gain in elevation per lap, fast, flowing?

Give Rosaryville state park a try. It is located on highway 301 southbound on the right just after croom road in Upper marlboro MD. ( 30 minutes from Annapolis ) ride the trail in the clockwise direction. you will have 3 good climbs Up a powerline hill ( 15 percent grade ) and 2 good climbs in the woods followed by 5 miles of very fast rollercoaster style single track. Near you, Avalon is by far the best.

Loch Raven reservoir, near Towson, is good too.
