rosaryville on a bmx bike

im 15years old and i usualy ride a raleigh ram 2.0 but i had broken the frame. while i was waiting for the new one my dad wanted to ride rosaryville and since i hadent gotten my mtb back the only thing i could use was my bmx(pegs and 20 inch tires with street tred). my dad and a freind rode the clockwise dirrection(starting accross from the kiosk parking lot) and i rode the counter clockwise dirrection(starting from the kiosk parking lot).my dad rode the trial in about 55 min and on the bmx bike i finshed in about 1 hour and 5 min. i was just wondering if anyone has tried it on a bmx bike or if anyone thinks that was good time for riding a bmx.

Sunds like you should be riding a single speed :)

I've only been to Rosaryville a couple of times, but an hour and few minutes sounds pretty fast to me - especially on a BMX bike with street tread...

yea i was wondering what it would be like to ride a single speed and that gave me a small hint to what its like

Sorry to hear about the broken frame but maybe this will get you moe
into a single speed mindset!! Lots of riders enjoy Rosaryville
on their single and think it's the perfect park for a single, I agree.

Rosaryville is great on a single speed or on a cyclocross bike. I have ridden it on both, and on both occasions, was my first singletrack experience with both bikes. No big hurdles or hills, but being gearless or on skinny tires made it a lot of fun. I found pretty much everything ridable except a couple of the unbridged stream crossings.
