Join us in congratulating Lance Armstrong on his seventh Tour de France victory! Now this inspiring athlete and cancer survivor is turning his attention to awareness about cancer research with the 2005 Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope.
On Saturday, October 8, 1,500 cyclists will take part in the Tour of Hope DC Fundraising Ride to benefit cancer research. They will engage in either a 50-mile ride or a 10-mile ride, all convening on the Ellipse near the White House for the triumphant arrival of Lance and the Tour of Hope National Team for the Tour of Hope Finale.
An event of this size needs a large number of volunteers to work on the course, at aid stations, and the finish. If you are interested in volunteering for the 2005 Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope DC Fundraising Ride, please contact Lisa Tanner via email at lisatanner6@aol.com. To show our appreciation all volunteers will receive an official Tour of Hope t-shirt.
Thanks for your support of the Tour of Hope and cancer research!
