night riding?

Are there any trails in the area that you are allowed to ride at night? I know there are some MORE night rides, but I'm more wondering about just showing up and riding - i.e., no group.

I live in MD, potapsco is the closest park, and I know they do not allow night riding. What about schafer, rosaryville, or black hill?

I think you will generally find that you have to go on a MORE led ride to get out after dark.

Rockburn park, next to Patapsco on the other side of Airport road, is open until 11pm in the summer, and as far as I know you can ride there until it closes. I haven't had any trouble. The riding is easy, though, and there are only a few miles of trail. But if you park at Rockburn and ride Patapsco while its light out, you can ride out of Patapsco as it's getting dark and extend your ride by doing a lap or two at Rockburn in the dark.
