I was driving back to the office from lunch errands. I was stopped at Old Lee and Willard when I noticed the pickup with a futon frame in the bed had an IMBA sticker. As it turned into the LockMar parking lot, I also noticed a MORE sticker.

Who are you? Have we met? Did you ever go to a Conway Robinson work day?

I stuck an IMBA and a MORE sticker on the fairing which I installed on my Corolla this weekend :)

My other vehicle is a Tacoma, so I'm kinda partial to them, too!

Hey! I had a late lunch today, and driving back, I was following the goldish Tacoma with the MORE, IMBA, and Manitou stickers in the back window. THIS time I zipped along side, honked and waved as I turned into the Aerospace lot when you turned into the LocMar lot. Who are you????? :)

Probably some random guy that bought the car off a MORE member and just didnt take the stickers off. Now he has people honkin' and wavin' at him all over the place!!! :)

Yeah, well, I gotta MORE and IMBA sticker on my fairing so maybe that clued him in. And if he was even half way paying attention I now have both a SQUIRREL and a GIRL decal on my trunk. The people at work would ask, "There's a car in the lot with a squirrel on it. Is that yours?" But that was before I got the girl. In real life, no one calls me "SG."

See? I told you I kept a low profile! You didn't even recognize me the next time you saw me - only 9 days after we rode EF together! I'm actually more surprised you didn't recognize the truck!

Maybe piperj is right - nucking futs !

Maybe piperj is right - nucking futs !I thought, "He looks familiar." But while my VEHICLE is unmistakable.... a face, seen for about a half second, through glass at 35 mph while turning, is NOT!!! (I couldn't see your face from behind while trailing you, only when I passed). I don't remember your vehicle in the parking lot! I must have been more blithfully poking fun at my little monkey and not paying attention.

I make no claim to be anything OTHER than nucking futs! Have I ever? Would you rather I just didn't care? Besides. This group of folks I see at WF. Those I see at Gambrill. Some others at Shaeffer. Some others at FH. Craig, (not Craig2) for instance, and I had gotten chatty in the parking lot of FH on numerous occasions. So I was able to place him at a different venue (but would never have recognized his vehicle).

Hey wanna do lunch sometime? :D

Like I said - low profile. Hey, maybe I should be a CIA agent when/if I grow up!

As for lunch...maybe on the bike! I used to do midday rides from work, but there's nothing to ride out there. (Company used to be in Reston.) Now maybe if we get that Cub Run area "trailed up", we'll have a good venue. Actually, C-R is probably about the closest after C'ville power lines, which I used to ride a bunch when my old riding buddy lived out there.

Like I said - low profile. Hey, maybe I should be a CIA agent when/if I grow up! See! See! See!!! Low Profile! So quit pokin' fun at me for not recognizing you! :p I'd make the world's worst CIA agent, methinks.

About the time we move away or die. But it's part of the Sully Woodlands. You WILL be hit up as a volunteer when that gets rolling. But in the meanwhile.... Speaking of Cub Run. If Fairfax Co. would only put the f*&%@# footbridge in over it, it would make my life cycling to work SO much easier!!! Then I wouldn't have to deal with my three alternate choices: Braddock (death road), US 50, or the Swamp.

The worst part of me cycling over lunch is that I get dolled up for work. I wear makeup and all. So if I ride, I have to shower and redo all that crap. So after work is better. But if you ever wanna do that, I'd definitely be up for that. But of course, I am the world's slowest rider. :(
