Somebody dragged logs and pulled vines in the middle of the trail in various spots on Buzzards Rock Trail (Balt Co side). It was noticed and cleared this morning by someone riding up the trail. Coming down the trail at speed would have been dangerous. Perhaps the same spray paint d-bag? Be careful out there.

It's been happening for years, various threads on here have brought this up in the past. I believe it to be the same individual that x's out the biker and horse emblems on the trails signs.
One early weekday AM (0545/0600) hiking with our dogs a group of us came across wet paint on the signs off Hilton Ave, we made lots of comments and hustled up the trail looking for the perpetrator but with no luck. Coincidence or not when I got back to my car parked on Hilton my windshield wipers had been bent and broken - probably the same guy/gal. The paint was fresh enough that they couldn't have been far, they probably heard our comments on their way out and made a good assumption that the cars parked there where ours.
It's unfortunate to say the least, best to be careful in that area of Patapsco when hoping over blind logs etc.

sounds like he was spotted and confronted this morning and as suspected he's a socio-path. definitely be careful out there.

I was riding out there last Wednesday and we noticed a lot of young kids who looked like they weren't up to any good. One even stood at the end of swinging bridge and stared at us in what felt like an intimidation attempt, very weird. I suspect that's its summer and there are just a bunch of kids with nothing better to do than mess with mountain bikers...who knows...

Especially the person who confronted this guy. The Maryland DNR has a contact number to report violations in the parks, 1-800-825-PARK.
I'm sure this is one and the same person who has been sabotaging the trails and painting the signs over the years. Some of sabotage is potentially dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt, and I'll bet someone has already been hurt from the result of this person's actions. I believe most if not all the vandalism has occurred on the Baltimore County side.
Long time resident who lives near or borders the park?
I would not confront this guy, He's obviously nuts. Finding out where He lives and reporting him to the Maryland DNR Police is the best way to stop him.
