Hi,

I have ridden the shed a few times and love it. However, i've always gone with people who really know the trails. I am going without them on Sat and have a question about the loop I want to do. I am parking at Hamburg road and heading south on blue trail. I know the elevation will drop as you descend into the valley. I want to make my way from the eastern part of the park over the western part to pick up the yellow trail at gambrill. I've been told at a certain point do not ride the blue trail too far south into gambrill. I spoke to the gambrill ranger who said to get the yellow trail from the blue (heading south)

--take the blue, it turns into a fireroad
--This is apparently a womans house. Make a right on her driveway, head west 1/4 mile and before the road becomes paved the yellow trail head is there.

Can someone verify this? Does anyone know exactly at which point of the yellow trail this part is so I can look on a map?

Thanks

If you park at Hamburg rd and ride south you will go into Clifford Hollow. When you climb out of C. Hollow you will hit a gravel road, turn right. If you turn left it will take you to the house. The trail is marked Blue. After turning right on the road go a few hundred yards. The Blue/Yellow trail is on your left.

when I make a right on the road are you referring to the paved road or the gravel road?

thanks
