A friend of mine found a stray husky a week or so ago and needs to find a home for her.
This particular pup is a husky named Pepper with coloring to match (white and black) with light brown eyes.
She is about two years old, 30-40 pounds, housebroken, is pretty good on a leash, and an absolute sweetheart. I met her last night for the first time and she seems like she will do anything for a belly rub! She is not spayed and has had at least one litter. She has been introduced to other dogs and gets along well.
The only catch is that she has separation anxiety and will need to be put in a crate when she is left alone. I have no idea if She is prone to having an accident or two (of the pee/poo kind) in new places until she has adjusted. She will need one of the plastic crates with the spring lock. She managed to escape from one of the metal type kennels and caused some damage to the apartment.
Here is an article from the humane society about separation anxiety http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/dogs/tips/separation_anxiety.html
I will hopefully have pictures of her up tonight.
