A friend of mine found a stray husky a week or so ago and needs to find a home for her.

This particular pup is a husky named Pepper with coloring to match (white and black) with light brown eyes.

She is about two years old, 30-40 pounds, housebroken, is pretty good on a leash, and an absolute sweetheart. I met her last night for the first time and she seems like she will do anything for a belly rub! She is not spayed and has had at least one litter. She has been introduced to other dogs and gets along well.

The only catch is that she has separation anxiety and will need to be put in a crate when she is left alone. I have no idea if She is prone to having an accident or two (of the pee/poo kind) in new places until she has adjusted. She will need one of the plastic crates with the spring lock. She managed to escape from one of the metal type kennels and caused some damage to the apartment.

Here is an article from the humane society about separation anxiety http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/dogs/tips/separation_anxiety.html

I will hopefully have pictures of her up tonight.

Yeah, mine said no new homeless pets until we buy the farm. Then we can adopt all the homeless pets.

Thanks everyone! She still needs a home. I can send info for interested parties to my friend to set up a visit or to get more info on her.

I so wish I could, but I don't think my roommate's two cats will mind having a doggy in the house that I don't own.

...until we buy the farm.

Jesus you're old. ;)

Did anyone run the dog by a vet or animal shelter and have her scnned for a chip? I know I would be mad if my Shepherd was lost and someone didnt return him, even though hes chipped.

Yes, she was scanned for a chip. The girl who has her works as a vet tech.
