Dear fellow supporters of high school mountain biking,
The momentum of high school mountain bike racing is building steam across the country, and as NICA's acting board president, I'd like to hear from you!
Matt Fritzinger started the NorCal League in 2001, and in the nearly nine years since its inception, high school mountain bike racing has spread to southern California, and a full schedule of racing in Colorado is coming together for this fall. We've been hearing from many folks across the country who are looking for more information on how to get involved and be a part of this thrilling movement. For that we're grateful; now we need to take our one-dimensional discussions and add another dimension.
We use Google Maps to show the 'neighborhoods' of each League (here is NorCal's), including where the teams, sponsors and supporting bike shops are located. We want to create a NICA Neighborhood which shows all the states, clubs, sponsors and supporters throughout the country, so we need your help.
Email your name, address, city, state and zip code, and your affiliation to Send me an email . We'll create a NICA Neighborhood with 'pushpins' to reflect the widespread momentum and potential of high school racing making its way from coast to coast. Deadline is January 30, so get on it right away.
Please help us by using the following format:
