What's this stuff about you only riding on the road when the trails are bad???? You are too doing a lot of road rides because you LIKE them!!!!!:p

BTW, how'd the 57 miler go this weekend??

Well, I guess I like it, but just a little :)

I didn't go on the 57 miler on Saturday; went riding Sunday, intending to do the Dupont to Poolesville ride, but didn't bring a cue sheet (thinking I knew the way, I'd done it 2 or 3 times before!), made a wrong turn (maybe missed a turn?), and ended up way up in Gaithersburg before I eventually got my bearings and was able to head back towards DC. Took Darnestown road back to 355, and descended into town through Rockville and Bethesda. My little 'adventure' provided for a really great workout, though - that's the great news! I even stopped to ask for directions at one point... LOL

I even stopped to ask for directions at one point... No!!

You're too much of a MAN to do that ;)

I got a nice little ride in at Greenbrier State Forest, WV. Eventually I'll get some pictures up. I was even able to buy a cute squirrel T-shirt at the gift shop!

Yes!!!!

I know, it goes against absolutely every law of being a heterosexual man, but I don't think riding around endlessly on the scenic backroads of Montgomery County was really an option, even with a pocket full of Gu packs. So, yeah, I fully expect some degree of grief. But, it wasn't raining, and no flats. Not a bad day.

So, I guess don't follow me if you're ever out road riding, because chances are a I will have no idea where I am, and no idea where I'm going. Next time I plan to bring a cue sheet, though :)
