How to build features

Of course this time a year with solid packed ground is a terrible time to build features but I was wondering if there is any place that outlines building features. How to build things like dirt jumps, berms, gaps, tables, etc. so that they'll be stable and handle the abuse put forth by bikes. Is there any good sites, pics, vids that go over the building of these features?

I dont know the extent of whats covered but www.rotorburn.com has some discussions on their forums. Gotta envy the Aussies.
