Anyone been there today? wondering if non-mtb specific sections will be dry enough tomorrow am?

Well, we didn't get any rain today here in NoVA, even though it's been cloudy today. I hear that LH is pretty resilient, so it ought to be in shape to ride tomorrow.

I rode there today and it was fine, good condition. I recall one small puddle on Apple Orchard and the entrance to Slaughterhouse adjacent to the building was a bit muddy.

If LH holds up like it did last winter, it will most likely be the local go-to trail for most of the winter. Giles Run and the mtb specific areas have some bad spots, but the reinforced meadow trails are damn near impervious to weather. It is also a great place to a nice steady tempo ride in without having to be get on the road bike.

I'm already expecting to hit it 2-3 times a month unless we actually get a cold enough winter to freeze the rest of the local trails full-time.
