Like working with stone? We have a great opportunity this Saturday to show what we can do with larger stone on a high-traffic section of trail.
Work: We'll be working on three spots on the western end of the main trail, using a variety of methods to prepare the trails to hold up better this winter. The park authority was kind enough to bring in dirt and stone and now we get to do the fun part.
Chat: I'll bring the latest maps of the redesign and can give an update on the project if anyone is interested. Looking forward to your feedback.
Ride: Bring your bike, we definitely plan to ride afterward as long as the weather holds up.
Please RSVP on the calendar (http://www.more-mtb.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1485&day=2009-10-31).
Meet at the skatequest ice rink parking lot (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=1800+michael+faraday+ct,+reston,+ va&sll=38.949772,-77.331465&sspn=0.006091,0.008497&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=1800+Michael+Faraday+Ct,+Rest on,+Fairfax,+Virginia+20190&z=16) at 1800 Michael Faraday Ct at 9am. Bring boots, gloves, water, bike and helmet. I'll bring the coffee and donuts.
