Next Listening Forum Slated For Laurel Hill Golf Club
Come out in your riding gear and show your support!
Fairfax County Park Authority Director, John Dargle, Jr., will once again head out into the community for a chance to speak one-on-one with residents on topics related to parks. The next Listening Forum will be in the Mt. Vernon District at Laurel Hill Golf Clubhouse. The meeting will take place on October 22, 2009 at 7 p.m.
Director Dargle has been hosting Listening Forums throughout the county and will now visit South County. Listening Forums present an informal opportunity to discuss concerns and suggestions related to recreation, preservation of natural and cultural resources, customer service issues, or ideas for future facilities or improvements.
With the many changes that have occurred in the Lorton area at Laurel Hill, your input on how the Park Authority can best meet the needs of the community is especially valuable. Citizen participation has been influential in the creation of new equestrian and trail opportunities that have been opened on newly acquired Park Authority land.
