Potomac Heritage Trail, Va

Does anyone know what this is like? It looks as if it springs out from the top of Riverbend - just curious on condition and quality - Thanks!

I am 99% sure that you can't ride bikes on that trail. I used to do some trail running on it a few years back.

I read something on the USPS website last nite that claimed it was infact open to bikes - altho I'd be hard pressed to find that page again. I guess I'll have to try and investigate some more. Thanks!
