First there are a few falls that might need taking care of:
Going North from Woodstock Rd...go down the paved rd, straight across the stream then take the first right up the rocky hill on the way to the quarry....about 1/2 mile up there are 2 trees that have fallen, not sure if someone wants to take those out or not...
Then on the thru trail
Going north from woodstock Rd there are a few re-routes I'd like to report on....
The 1st one that moved the trail up hill about 10ft for a few hundred feet looks good and worn in, you can still see the old trail, but it's no longer used at all...
next there was a re-route that avoided a part of the trail that went up hill around a tree then back down, quite challenging for this MTBer....the re-route puts the trail back down to it's original level location which had been ridden around because of a huge fall..........now you almost can't tell that the trail ever went up the hill and around that tree
on the next one....a stream crossing that had a large log for getting across the stream was re-routed about 20ft upstream, regrettably in these dry conditions because of all the horses out in this section....both crossings resemble the moon, large areas pockmarked with hoof holes ;-( not sure what the solution would be here
