Oy folks.

I thought I'd share some of the riding photos from last week's trip to Fruita, Colorado and Moab, Utah.

Days 7 and 8 are the most scenic. The trails were amazing. They'd had rain the week before we got there, so the dust was minimal and the sand washes were pretty firm. It was in the 70's and 80's each day. That is between 20 and 30 degrees cooler than last year's trip.

Hope you enjoy them.

Peace!

Hey Pete great photos. Looks like a great trip. All my buddies at work went to Moab that same week. They also saw a big black dog. I couldn't make the trip due to my summer knee surgery. it never would have held up to the trails there. I grew up in SLC, Utah. Your pixs really made me home sick:-( Thanks for sharing Charlie

Hey Charlie.

Sorry to make you homesick. I grew up in Denver and I definitlely miss the place. I'm fortunate enough to get back there 4 or 5 times per year to ride and at least once to snowboard.

Hopefully that knee will get better soon. When I am out of commission with back injuries, I have to cover the bikes in the basement and seclude myself from friends who ride because its too much temptation. I definitely celibrate every day that I'm able to ride.

It looks like we'll be doing a trip to Sedona, AZ in February. I've heard the riding is good there. With luck I'll have the tandem built up by then and I'll have lots of weird photos of us on the longbike.

Peace! Get well soon. The trails miss you.

Pete
