I'm getting a new bike that comes with this standard. I'm thinking about buying the F100X, but would only do it if someone wants to buy this. I'm assuming the steer tube is cut, so it may not fit every bike. The bike I ordered is a Medium. As soon as I get the bike, I will let you know the length if anyone is concerned. Any offers?

Here's the spec:
Fox F100RL, 100mm travel, air spring, compression adjust with lock-out, rebound adjust, lightweight alloy steerer

Yes, I would be interested depending on price and length of steer tube.

I don't know what's the suggested retail, or if they even sell it aftermarket. On the Fox website, there's a F100RLT or something. Also, what size frame are you putting it on? The steer tube on the bike is 110mm, and the bike I saw has like 4 spacers on it. I don't know how much this helps, but I thought I tell you what I know. PM me an offer if you like.

I'm sure there are a number of us that might be interested in helping you out with the purchase of the F100X by way of purchasing your used RL. The question is how much?

they are selling on ebay for about $350 each i think. a bit more if the steer tube was un-cut.

Steerer is cut to 7 inches. However, I have a confession. It's not longer "new", and unridden. I got my bike yesterday and I had to ride it. Sorry. It has one ride. Hopefully that doesn't turn anyone off. Actually, it will probably have two rides, because I think I'm going to ride schaeffer tonight. But that's it, two rides, I promise. Rain is coming, and I'll be off this guy until at least early next week. This will be the best time for me to order the 100X :-)

I don't know about it being $350 on Ebay. This morning I checked and saw the F100 RLT for 500 opening bid, 600 buy it now.

I thought I could get around $550. Please tell me if this is unreasonable because I don't know the retail on this guy. I don't want to be cheated, and I don't want to cheat anyone else.

The fork is disc only. No V brake tabs. As I said before, here are the specs: 100mm travel, air spring, compression adjust with lock-out, rebound adjust, lightweight alloy steerer (cut to 7 inches). I'm not sure what's on the RLT. If anyone knows, that'd be great. Any serious offers or questions, gimme a call on my cell phone. 2404263480. Be sure to leave a message because I don't have service at work. Leave you're number and I'll give you a call asap. Thanks.

With the tube being cut that short you wouldn't get much over $400. You might end up getting up to $450 on eBay but is it worth the pain? No, I'm not just trying to get you to sell it for cheap, I'm not looking to buy it.

I guess if people are still interested, let me know. I'm willing to negotiate down from the price I stated earlier.

Dude-- just a suggestion; if you've got a $600 retail fork, why not just keep it?

Just a suggestion.

I've been thinking about getting an F100X for a while. Since this guy is "new," I thought I could get the more money for it now, and spend that on a F100X.
