Everyone in Anne Arundel County knows how few trails we have. This Saturday is our opportunity to change that.
The more than 800 acres comprising the South River Greenway will soon be the area’s largest park, but it needs your help.
Join the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks, Scenic Rivers Land Trust, and the Mid-Atlantic Off-Road Enthusiasts to help remove non-native invasive plants in the Greenway. After the workday, there will be an opportunity to hike existing and proposed trails.
Where to Meet: Hawkins Rd, after crossing I-97 overpass
When to Meet: 10am, June 20th
What to Bring: Work gloves, sturdy shoes, water, food, loppers &
hand clippers (if you have them)
For more information: www.srlt.org or email: patrickgmillerATgmail.com
This will count to your MORE hours
this is the last scheduled workday for the Spring Series
