OK, this one's pretty wacky/long shot, but what the heck....
I spotted what appeared to be an MTB shoe (brown, maybe a Pearl Izumi) on the shoulder of the road (why is it always just one?????) Perhaps someone left it on the roof, headed home to Falls Church from Wakefield, didn't lose it until the exit?
Location: on the shoulder of the exit lane from the inner loop of the beltway, between Gallows Rd. & Rte. 50.
If it's yours, go pick it up.
