Back Country Excursions Is New England's cross country Mountain Biking Vacation Destination and epic single track trails center. Located in southern Maine on an 8800 acre preserve of rolling hills, a mixture of hard and softwood forests, this one one-of-a-kind riding experience will offer any rider more variety in terrain, and fast flowing long rides than most are accustomed to. With a motto of make it fast, flowing, and fun our 23 miles of strictly mt bike dedicated, hand-built tight single track, will keep you busy for days. In addition we have special stunt trails and a world class terrain/stunt park that has received lots of publicity buzz. Special events: Our annual Microbrew Mountain Biking Festival - August
Mountain Bike Instructors Certification Class - May and September.

Weekend Warriors, Techy's and Novice riders are welcome.

We offer onsite camping or bunkhouse style accommodations. Full package getaways could include food Or we have bare bones no frills cheapo getaways too. Guiding is always included and we ride for you not for us.

This year begins Back Country Excursions 20th year supporting biking activities and trail access for the numerous mountain biking communities from New England to Virginia.

In our efforts to support MORE and other organizations we've donated MTB vacation packages that hundreds have enjoyed over the years. This is our off season and as many not- for- profits reach out for support, some of us that are for-profit need to reflect on past year and be thankful for any support.
