Cedarville Trail Work Day
May 16, 2009 - 9am-1pm
Pace: Casual
Difficulty: Easier
Contact: Tommy Garrison
Location: Cedarville State Forest, MD
That time again to show some appreciation for the "other" So. Md. park.
Pending final approval we'll be doing a trail re-route which will move a part of the orange trail off of a section of fire road into the woods. Thus giving us more single-track. Single track is always better than fire road.
A secondary project of armoring up a swamped out root forest is planned in case the re-route doesn't happen on Saturday.
We'll meet at the park maintenance sheds at 9:00. If you can come late, thats fine. If you gotta leave early, thats fine.
I'll have the FREE Cedarville/Rosaryville parking passes which are good for parking at either park untill the end of September 2009 for anyone doing work.
Bring the usual, work gloves and something to drink.

Directions to the maintenance sheds: Drive past the main park HQ office. Make a left at the stop sign onto Forest Rd. Maintenance area is on the right a 1/2 mile down.
