Anyone ride these tires? They came stock on my bike, and on my first ride, I got a small cut in the sidewall and got a pinch flat. At Cabin John. I'm a little worried that they won't hold up to any real abuse.
Is it worth keeping them until they fail completely, or are they junk and should I be looking for something else immediately?

Where were you riding on CJ? And what kind of tire pressure???
I did double flat from Cabin John on my first ride there 2 years ago, by unknowingly riding the non-open section from River Rd to the train bridge/495 further down Seven Locks.

Started at the small lot on Seven Locks, just south of River Road and headed north for about 30-45 minutes. First day out on a new bike, and first time on a decent trail in a year or so. Was running fairly high pressure - 35 front and 40 rear; dual suspension 4" xc bike - I'm 200 lbs.
Found out the hard way that I'm 1) not as good as I used to be and 2) not as good as I thought I was. Pinch flatted in the first 15 minutes, just caught a random rock wrong, I guess. Then snagged a tree with my bar and crashed pretty good at the northern end of my trip. That was a fun ride back with a gimp shoulder and some nice trail rash. :flushed:
Didn't really have any trouble with the tires other than that flat and the small sidewall cut. They seemed to grip/corner/stop fine, but CJ seems pretty mellow and I'd rather get something better now than fight with the Raijins all season, if others are having trouble with them.
