The C&O Canal Trust, in partnership with the National Park Service, will soon debut an exciting and unique program, Canal Quarters, in the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park. Canal Quarters will provide visitors to the park with an educational and interpretive experience unlike anything available elsewhere in our national park system. The Trust is actively seeking a number of highly skilled and motivated volunteers to serve as Quartermasters. A description of the program and the Quartermaster responsibilities is attached. We would be grateful if you could help spread the word by posting the announcement on your website or in your newsletter. Feel free to share as widely as possible.
