These trails are ready to go. Just a few wetspots. Just rode up to the tunnel and did a loop that went off the thru trail and then back to it. The trails north of Woodstock and south of McKeldin might need another day, with all the horse traffic they tend to stay muddy.

There are a few new falls on the thru trail, 2 on the paved Alberton Rd section, and one at the top of the hill after the RR tracks. One of the ones on the paved portion has a worn in walk around already.

There are a few new falls on the thru trail, at the top of the hill after the RR tracks. This one was at the 2.9 mile marker on my GPS but we did go up the fireroad to look at the stone church ruins before going up the hill after the tracks....

2.9 miles from where? if you can pinpoint it on map that would be helpful to her. I'm sure she'll find the stuff on alberton but the other one might prove more difficult.

Oh! from the dogwood Rd lot, sans the side trip to the church. (maybe deduct a couple 10ths of a mile)
The other one is on the thru trail, after the tracks, after the split up the hill, near where the trail levels off, (going north it's before the fireroad comes in from the right along side that house) that would be a good way to get in there, if she has access to that, go in the fireroad, make a left on the thru trail headed south...
Does that help?

maybe I should make it a point to ride all the way thru in case there's more to do in the same area? what do you think?

Eric,
More trees across the thru trail N of Dogwood Rd.
3 are across the trail before the dam at about the 5foot level, I was able to ride under them...
Up by the dam a large tree w 4 trunk branches has fallen down pretty much blocking the trail...

Hey Eric,
More falls along the thru trail...
One is a major mess right by the Daniels dam....
there is a ridearound up the hill towards the dam...
this fall has been there for a while and it seems that other trees keep adding to it.
That would be quite a job..
Another is at 1.5 miles in from the parking lot, this is across the tracks and up the hill but just before the split, this one has been there since last summer
(no ride around)
and two more past the split at 2.2 and 2.3 miles
there's a powerline fireroad off of Davis Av (I think that's the road it comes off of)
that might be an easier way to get in above the split...
As always, I'm willing to go in and help...
Thanks
Mike

Oh I'm sorry...
The little lot at Dogwood and Alberton.
What I'd call the southernmost terminus of the thru trail.
Thanks.
Mike
