Schaeffer Farm Trails are Open!

The trails are open as of this morning! Enjoy! Let me and Caverly (co-liaison) know if you see problems we should fix.:thumbsup:

I will add that there were numerous puddles on the gravel road from the rain yesterday. The gates may be open, but, please use good judgment out on the trails. If they are muddy, please don't ride. One day of damage can create a lot of unnecessary work for others.

I rode Schaeffer today (just yellow) and the trails were generally in good shape. There were some very soft areas but if you ride gently directly through the soft areas they are holding up OK. I noticed on my way back that some of the softest sections on the way out were noticeably firmer an hour+ later when I was coming back! :thumbsup:

That said there are definitely sections that are "on the bubble", a few more days like today and they'll dry out nicely. But a cay of wet weather could also make them a mess - so please pay particular attention while you are out at this time of year.
