Looking for a cheap single ring crankset for a city fixie project. Hopefully less then $50. I'd like it to be shorter arms (165 ish or less) but I'm not picky.
Hook me up.

Ebay may be your best bet if you don't find any locally. Might not get below 50... but you might.
Good luck.

Harris has Bulletproof (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/cranks/130-single.html) 140-170mm square taper BMX cranks for 40 bones . . . that's always been in the back of my mind for a commuter build.

I've got a bontrager crank laying around that I'm not using. It was the stock crank on my old Fillmore. Its Isis, and I have a matching BB. I think it has a 46 tooth ring, but I'd have to check.
I'll let it go real cheap if it works for you.

I've got some Truvativ Holzfeller Crank arms (no rings) and BB I'll sell for $30. You can use that for Single Ring. They are 170mm.
Probably overkill for what you need it for though. The BB I have will work with 68 and 73mm shells.
EDIT: I do have a new 38T single ring if you want one that big that I can throw in for $15.

It might work. I have to check what type of BB threading the Vainquir it's going on has.

That might work too. Gotta, measure the BB width and threads tonight.
Now, if I could just figure out how to get the cotter pin cranks off.
